How do you know if you have genital herpes?

So I have hsv 1. I get cold sores about once a year, when I stress out too much. My boyfriend has never had a cold sore. So he hasn’t shown any symptoms but I had a cold sore recently and we did share our vape accidentally a few times. He ate me out and now I’m worried about getting genital herpes. I didn’t think of it in the moment cause he clearly has no symptoms. It’s been a few days and he still hasn’t had anything. But still freaking out. And I just noticed a bump on my vagina. It’s like a pimple. Just flesh coloured, doesn’t hurt or anything and I’ve had pimples down there before. It doesn’t look like a blister but now I’m absolutely freaking out. Anyone have advice? Or some knowledge on any of this stuff?
