How sex is safe in this condition?

I had a miscarriage in October and just found out I’m pregnant again in December. I’m still very early though and wonder how sex is safe if I ever experienced miscarriage. And if I ask a doctor bout this should she check my cervix or something to see if I can still keep on having sex? Because my partner can be home once a twice a week. And yeah we kinda miss that kind of intimate.. so I try to find some possibility lol.. any comment would be very appreciate. Thank you.
