My husband and I decided to do the genetic testing with the mind set of "knowledge is power" as we would not abort our baby. We found out I am a carrier for CF, and my husband is now being tested. I know the chances of actually both being carrier and then passing that gene on to our baby are low, but I'm in need of some peace of mind. Has anyone ever experienced this and found out their significant other was NOT also a carrier and/or you were both carriers and had a healthy baby?
