Af? Or something else?

Question

Five days earlier than my af was expected I started having brown spotting that lasted 4&1/2 days mild cramping on and off some days a little heavier and redder than others. But barely qualify as even a light af. Was it af?  Has anyone ever experienced this, if so do you know what caused it or why?

That happened to me last year. We were ttc #1 and I had a super light period and then no period the next month and got bfp. Wasn't sure how far along I was and ultrasound showed I was 11 weeks. So I had the super light period after I was already Oregon. Don't know if it will be the same for you tho

I had this happen a couple months ago. My doctor did an ultrasound and said my uterine lining looked thicker than it should (since I didn't have a normal period) and said it's possible that I did not ovulate the month before and my body wasn't sure what to do...or it was just a light period. He also suspects I might have endometriosis, so that might explain unusual spotting, too.

I have, it was just a weird, light period. Drove myself crazy thinking it was IB but body was back to normal the next month.
