What’s the best types of birth control?

I just had a baby and I go to the dr the 14th to get birth control but I’ve never used any kind of birth control before so what kind do you guys suggest??
I’m also breastfeeding!

If you are not good at remembering to take pills, try an IUD. That’s what I have and love it. There’s also Nuvaring. You insert that one yourself. I have a friend that uses it and she really likes it.

Honestly everyone says the IUD, but I had nothing but problems with it. I gained 50 lbs which is a bit of a shock considering I was 110 when I got it, I was moody and depressed, any time I had a period I could feel it and it would hurt so bad I’d throw up and pass out. I had regular checks and I could feel the strings so I thought nothing of it. I finally got fed up and went in again to have it removed and found out it imbedded in my uterus so I had to have surgery to remove it. The only plus side is I didn’t get pregnant, but honestly after all the bullshit I dealt with it it wasn’t even worth it.
