July L&D stories!

My baby was born July 23rd! Probably would have been born on his due date July 27th maybe idk but due to my gestational diabetes I had to get induced only took about 10/11 hours of labor and 17-20 minutes of pushing for my first time and getting induced. I’ve heard stories of women getting induced and it takes days for them to go into labor! Which I thought was going to happen to me😭😳 my baby weighed 8.5 and was about 21inches ;o

I honestly thought my son was gonna be smaller because I never felt heavy my back never hurt while I was standing only when I would lay down my back would start to hurt and my stomach definitely did not look like I had an 8 pounder and I’m very petite so I just thought he was gonna be tiny but guess not I was surprised!
