Hi ladies,

I need sound advice, no criticism please.

I have been talking by phone to a wonderful man I met online for about 2 months now. He is the most ideal person for me. We have similar goals, dreams and expectations. He's been married before (single) and in his 50s, has kids who are 11 and 7. I have not been married and I am in my mid 40s, have a son in his 20s. We have not been intimate at all, we live far from each other for the time being. He is coming to see me in a month, to spend time together.

He feels in his heart that I am the one for him. He wears his heart on his sleeve and bears his soul about me and how he feels in this relationship. I do the same, when we started talking I felt different with him from the other men I've dated.

I've never felt so happy, not feeling unsure of the relationship and happy I can be myself, take care of me and still be in a great relationship.

He wants to be engaged in the next few months and we would marry within the year.

Has anyone experienced this and was it successful? I truly am in love with him, and I know he is the one for me too. I feel he is coming at a good time, where I feel solid about my life.

I feel my family and friends will not see it the way we do, and we will face heavy criticism.
