This is the type of birth control I take. (I missed one day) and I still get my period every single month. i though birth control stopped periods so why do I still have one?

The white pills are your placebo week. Typically that’s when you get your period. You didn’t talk to your doctor about it before starting? I have yet to find a birth control that will guarantee no periods

Depends on the type of bc. The white pills are placebo pills and you get withdrawal bleeding. It’s actually not a period.
