will he come back?

my ex boyfriend and i were best friends and his family loved me, everything was perfect. we loved eachother so much. but he ended up breaking up with me because he’s a junior in high school and he has so much going on, he was just so stressed out. his mom puts a lot of stress on him about grades and he’s a very smart boy and very hard working. he’s one of a kind. i dont think it has to do with another girl. but is it true that guys come back? like i was the only person he has told every little detail about his life to. i want him to come back and we’re currently on no contact. please help
