Does this look like a cold sore? No one in my immediate family has one that I can think of.

It sort of does, like when they’re damp and the scab can’t form. But it also looks like any type of irritation and it’s not healing because it’s moist.

Yes, it looks like one.  If she gets more spots or if it doesn’t start scabbing over and healing, then I’d see a dr though.  You can have a silent version of the virus and be much less likely to pass it but still be able to.

It kind of looks like she scratched the corner of her lips and it got infected. I would still take her to the doctor just to make sure.
