Ddlg issue

My fiancé is strange about some things. One of the biggest ones is I’m into ddlg. I’ve gotten him into choking but that’s about it. He’s not ok with me calling him daddy. He said it would be fine in bed but he’s made me feel awkward about it so I don’t. I like to be held down, spanked, the simple aspects of being dominated but he won’t do it. I’ve tried talking to him about it, but no changes other than he’s choked me a few times. Anyone else ever have this?
