Would I be wrong if I chose to get back on birth control w/o talking about it with my bf? We were pregnant at one point but it didn't last & have been trying again ever since. But the way this relationship is going lately I don't even know if I want to be tied down like that with him or if it'll last any longer. Need a non biased opinion...

I don’t think you are wrong that you want to go on birth control but I would have a convo with him that you are doing it. He doesn’t get a choice if you aren’t ready you aren’t ready but he does need to know.

If you feel like it’s not going to last or you don’t want to be tied down to him then you probably shouldn’t be with him, to avoid wasting each other’s time at least so you can find someone you want to be with you but about the birth control, it would probably be best to be honest. It’s your body and your choice and he can’t stop you so do what you want.

Why wouldn’t you tell him? I’d just tell him so he doesn’t think y’all are still TTC. I don’t think that should be something to hide from your partner, y’all should be on the same page.

i think you should, if you are going to go on it though and not tell him at least let him know you don’t want to try and conceive at this point of time, because making him think you are trying is wrong

Nope. If you want birth control that’s your choice definitely doesn’t have anything to do with him. It’s not his body. Do your research and see what’s best for you. Obviously if you want you can tell him your going on birth control but it shouldn’t be up for discussion considering it’s your body.

It would be wrong, imagine you thought you guys were TTC and he was doing something to prevent you getting pregnant 
Every month you’d feel defeated and wonder why it’s not happening 
That’s what he’ll be thinking if you’re not getting pregnant when he thinks you’re trying 
Tell him you’re not ready and you are going to go back on birth control

I was going to say you don’t need to but you said you’re trying so i think you need to tell him so he knows you’re not ready for a kid
