Confused

So back in November my fiancé and I had a short talk and decided we were going to try to have a baby.

Last week, I was on my period and he made the joke “I wish you would stop bleeding already” because he was in the mood and I don’t like period sex so I wasn’t up for it. So I responded to his comment with “so get me pregnant then” and he said “well I don’t want you to stop bleeding that bad”

I’m confused. He wanted to ttc in November and now it seems like he doesn’t. Maybe it was a joke and I’m overthinking but I really don’t think that’s the case. What should I do and what are your thoughts?
