When did you start buying things?

When did you start buying things for baby should I wait till 2nd trimester?

I am waiting until after our first ultrasound...but I really dont want to wait 🤣 the only reason I am is because  just paranoid something would happen and I'd be stuck with seeing extra baby stuff around.

32 weeks and still have a ton of stuff we need. I’m waiting until after my baby shower next week and then making one big shopping trip for all we still need. We do have all the big items though.

I’m 20 weeks and I’ve bought a couple packs of diapers. I just bought my crib last night because it was the only one that we found that matches the rest of the furniture that’s in the nursery and it had a deep discount so I think it’s going to be discontinued

I’m 24 weeks now and just started buying things. I did my registry early, I just kept it hidden until about week 20

I always make myself wait until the 20 week scan. And then I buy very conservatively because you often get gifts and once the baby arrives, you often ding that their personality dictates what you actually use. My daughter hates the swing, so whyyyy did we buy a swing, for example.

I haven't bought anything yet (2nd trimester here) but people started giving me things as soon as we announced. I am all about that hand me down life so I dont mind! We probably wont BUY anything until after the shower if there are vital things we need...or if I see something I cant pass up for a great price
