Hi

I met someone who is very social and kind. He has a similar mindset as me and wants the same things. He is not the most perfect guy but he has made me very happy so far and the only person who has made me smile and laugh so much in a long time. I have bad trust issues stemming from my past, and I keep myself at a distance with him because of that.

Recently he told me he loves me and he didn’t want me to feel untrusting of him. He said “ Do you remember I said I had something that I’d share if things works out ?” When we first met he shared with me that he had a past that personal and he would share it if we get serious. We both totally forgot about it but since now we have feelings he felt it was time.

So he told me that he did prison time for 6 years but only served 4. It wasn’t for a violent crime as he said he wouldn’t hurt a fly but instead it was for distribution. He distributed drugs for a a couple of years and stopped but later was caught and arrested when someone told on him . He did his time and he claims he is a good person who made a stupid decision. He says that One of his friends made it seem easy and it’s behind him now and was years ago. He has a job and is educated with two degrees.

I have a lot of feelings for him now and feel stuck if I should let my feelings flow...
