SHOULD I BREAK UP WITH HIM?? help

So me and my boyfriend have been dating for 4 months and at first it was perfect but now it’s gotten a bit boring because he can’t go out anywhere or stay after school because his parents are so strict sometimes it feels like I don’t even have a boyfriend, my feelings for him aren’t that strong anymore but I want to keep being friends because we used to be best friends before we started dating but I don’t think that’s possible now :( SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME 😭😭😖
