Can you relate?
She used to wake up everyday, feeling fresh, with a smile on her face. 12:00pm the clock would read as she stretched her arms moaning from that amazing sleep (and sex) she had last night.
Now she wakes up everyday, with a heavy head and sometimes an aching body, feeling like she slept 2 hours, knowing it’s not even 7am yet because it’s literally dark outside but her children need her and she cannot ignore that.
Her day would start off with a nice hot or cold shower (depending on the weather) , a whole skin routine to keep her face glowing and her perfect white teeth and fresh breath.
Now she’s lucky to even fit a shower in everyday and lets be real she has skipped washing her face or brushing her teeth more then one time.
Getting ready with a new outfit everyday, with the hair straightener plugged in and the makeup layed out in front of her as she wanted to look and feel beautiful everyday.
Now it’s usually the messy hair in a bun and the pjs, sweats, and T-shirt’s most days.
She’d make herself breakfast everyday and if she didn’t feel like it she’d just go out to eat.
Now she has to make sure all her children are fed properly and wait her turn so she can finally squeeze in her breakfast.
She used to always be happy and positive. She would spend her day pampering herself or keeping herself entertained while she waited fir her loved one to get home so they can go out. Go out for dinner or perhaps a movie.
Now she is always overwhelmed. Her emotions always get in the way. She doesn’t remember the last time she been to the spa. She doesn’t remember the last time she went out with her loved one without feeling anxious about how are kids are.
She always put herself, her needs and her luxuries first.
Now she’s always looking for the cutest little outfits or the favorite foods of her little ones.
She always wanted attention and care when she was not feeling well.
Now she puts aside all her sickness because someone, her baby, whose more important is not feeling well.
Even though she was perfect before she ever brought these little angels into this world, she would never complain because she knows that she is trying her best to be the best mother and that is enough because her children love and will always love her no matter how overwhelmed, messy, imperfect she is or can get.
