So about 11 days ago my 3 year old had congestion so we started his albuterol treatment and gave him Tylenol. Seem to do good. Fast forward to 2 days later I took my son to the er because he had a temp of 102.1 he got diagnosed with a viral infection should go away within a couple days continue to do albuterol and Tylenol with Motrin alternating. A few days went by and he got worse! Called his pediatrician and he said he had an ear infection gave him antibiotics cefdinir and a steroid. A few days go past still no improvement but not worse yesterday. He was TOTALLY FINE running around being himself I was sooo happy. Well this morning he wakes up screaming in pain I took his temp it went back up to 100.5 so i gave him all his medicine antibiotics steroids tylenol and we went to bed. I woke up an hour later because he was drenched in sweat and his temp went up to 102! So I packed him up and we went back to the hospital. Chest X-ray is normal they came back in and 2 different doctors looked at me and said something isn’t right we’re going to do some blood test. Hour went by and he got warmer after another dosage of Tylenol the hospital gave him his temp went up to 104! We’re waiting on more results he’s tested negative to the flu no pneumonia or bronchitis. Has anyone else experiencing this?!
