Any Brachycephaly and plagiocephaly moms?

Putting my 11mo old son in a helmet. Any moms out there that have babies in helmets any before and after pics what was your experience. Need a support system with this one

My son was born with severe plagiocephaly because of the way he was positioned in the womb. He had 2 helmets in total before he graduated out of it. Honestly, we were super worried that it would bother him but he didn't care that he had to wear it at all. We went through cranial technologies and they were great! Just make sure that baby wears it as much as possible as you get the best results that way. My son was recommended to wear it all day and night with the exception to take it off for baths, pool time, an hour cool off time and to wipe it off. Always carry around a towel because it gets so sweaty and if you don't wipe the sweat off periodically then they get red marks on their head. It also will start to smell so bad. Ask what kind of spray is compatible with the helmet material and also safe for baby's skin because it can definitely get musty smelling.  Go to every appt because they adjust (shave the helmet down) in accordance to how their head has shaped and how they want it to move in the next week or so. All in all, it worked wonders! He started out with a very noticeable odd head shape and now his head, while not perfect, looks so good! You'll see a change each week or two and it's so cool to watch.
