how do i communicate with my boyfriend that i feel as if he doesn’t defend me when it comes to his family like i defend him when it comes to mine. his mom and sister especially always has something to say and most of the time my boyfriend just doesn’t respond to them at all. we have completely different relationships with our families so i don’t expect him to respond the same as me but i’d just like to feel like he cares enough to say something. we’ve been together for almost 4 years and these 2 woman have ALWAYS had something to say about me. it just makes me really upset that i feel like he’s not reciprocating the energy
