Stay at home moms : what do you do to keep busy?

Winter has finally really hit us (highs of -20C this week) so we are stuck indoors possibly for a long while. 
My son is 7 months old. Now that he's able to stay awake for longer stretches and only napping twice a day, the days seem really long. We have a few outings scheduled during the week but I'm wondering what fun things I can do at home to keep baby stimulated and mama happy.

Go to the Star and strollers movie showing. I went yesterday. We saw frozen. Cineplex leaves some lights on and have the volume at half so its perfect. They have diapers and wipes and a portable change table. There were about 6 other moms there with their little ones too.

I have a toddler and a baby and cabin fever is hitting us hard! I feel you. We’re in MN and don’t really live close to much. I try to cycle through toys, I put them in a separate room and pull out a few at a time. Then baby doesn’t get sick of everything.

It’s freezing here so I scooped up plates of snow and my kids painted it with droppers and food colouring. They loved it.

Maybe create new sensory play items each day? Examples would be ziplock bags full of Pom poms or glitter glue or beads, or water bottles filled with the same, or have baby lie on his tummy with a pillow propped under his belly and chest so his arms are free and put items in a baking pan like unflavored gelatin or pudding or other textured items. It keeps things new every day for you both. Maybe just for the days you don’t have outings. Obviously you couldn’t keep it up forever lol
