I will try to keep this as short as possible. My son will be 11 months old on the 23rd of this month. He has only slept through the night once since he has been born. He was diagnosed with reflux when he was around 2.5-3 months old and has been on Zantac since then. However after he turned 6-7 months I started decreasing the dose gradually, per doctors orders, and then when the recall came I started reducing more quickly in hopes to get him off of it. I had gotten him down to .3ml 2x a day. He was fine during the day but sleep was terrible. He was very restless. So I stopped morning dose and just did night time dose of .5ml. He has done well during the day with no med, and was doing relatively well at night for a bit, but now we are back to very restless sleep. I’m just at a loss on what to do. I don’t necessarily want to increase his med much because I would still like to wean him off if possible, which is what the pediatrician has been wanting me to do for a while, and I’ve been trying really hard! I will be contacting the pediatrician but just wanted to see if anyone has experience with this or any suggestions?? Any help is appreciated as this momma is exhausted.
