Has anyone experienced too many mature eggs + aspiration?

I’m on my first medicated IUI cycle and I have 5 large follicles. 
In order to avoid cancelling this IUI cycle, my doc said they need to perform an aspiration of 3 of the mature eggs so that I don’t get pregnant with 5 babies 😳. 
Has anyone had this procedure?

I had 4 mature follicles and my dr wouldn’t move forward without me agreeing to selective reduction if 3 or more fertilized and implanted. That was a the cycle that was a success for me. Luckily only one implanted and I’m expecting a baby girl next month.

I've had 4-5 each cycle (currently in the wait post 6th IUI) and each time my doctor has had me assure her that I will allow a reduction if more than 3 end up implanting. I have very low AMH, so I've always felt like that conversation is weird - it's not going to be that road for me. But I am open to reduction - it just is wise unless you want to risk dying, losing the babies, endless health issues, etc. So I've always agreed with her but well, I'm still in the wait and no baby! My 5th IUI ended in a chemical, and the HCG levels suggested that there was just one. So I wouldn't sweat this stuff - pray for it to stick, and take the right call for your health and the babies', if that happens!
