First birthday plans? Smash cake? Pics?

I’d love to hear other people’s birthday plans! 
We’re having a little picnic at the park with mostly family and a few friends. Rainbow theme since she’s our rainbow baby 🤩 
What about a smash cake? 
Anyone plan on taking their own smash cake/1st bday pics? Any advice?

We are having a llama themed party! Just a few friends and family. I’m making the cake and cupcakes. And my husband is taking smash cake photos of her!

We're going to have a lunch at a restaurant and then go to a play place so the kids can play. It was a chaper idea than renting a place and having to come up with games and such, but still going to be a good time for the kids. I'm considering doing a smash cake photo shoot at home so I can enjoy his party without being worried about getting perfect pictures and that sort of thing. His theme is Price is Right because so far that's the only time he stops and watches TV. He is obsessed. 😂😂😂

Only immediate family (that’s already 15 people) will be joining us for pizza and pasta. Super low key. I finally found a vegan like smash cake recipe that’ll be trying out before his bday celebration. We’re going to be out and about all week long since it’s the first time my in-laws visit us from out of state.

We are doing an Alice in Wonderland theme with family and a few close friends. We are going to have cupcakes. Our little one gets pretty shy around a lot of people so I don't think she will dig into the smash cake. We are going to get her small smash cake for her to dig into on her actual birthday when it's just us. My husband will be taking pictures. He loves photography and playing around with his camera

Having a pretty big party with both sides of friends and family there. It’ll be at my moms house and the theme is Barnyard. It’s cow print and red bandana with all the farm animals. I’m going to make him a cupcake but he most likely will not smash it so I’m not worried about pictures. And a cake for the party and probably with just snack foods and tostadas.

We’re doing a shark themed party at seaquest (interactive aquarium) with all our family and some friends, planning on having 1 regular cake as well as his own smash cake and taking my own pictures of him since the camera quality on the newer iPhones seem just as good as professional cameras to me 🤷🏻‍♀️

We rented a room at the community center and are doing a mermaid theme.  I plan on making my baby her own little cake or cupcake to eat that is just hers and different from the birthday cake.
