Extras?

So I want to ask experienced moms what are some things you didn’t necessarily need for bringing baby home but made your life a whole lot easier? (Diaper caddy’s,bottle warmers,bouncer,etc)

Portable sound machine! My first two kids HATED the car so someone recommended a sound machine for the car and it was magic.

When my daughter was really young I had disposable pads to put on her changing station (I think they were for bed-wetting?) It made it so much easier to reduce just a little bit of laundry early on. When it got wet/dirty, we threw away and got out a new one.

Diaper caddy was a miracle after having to have stitches. I wasn't supposed to be moving around a ton or lifting much so having a diaper caddy in the living room was so helpful. I had of course diapers, wipes, cream, extra clothes for baby, spit rags, nursing pads and an extra blanket. Also the swing was super helpful even for 10 minutes so I could eat dinner without having baby in arms lol

The swing. And I know you can get more compact ones. (I had my son 5 years ago) but it got us through the first month. We did not use it beyond 2-3 months so it may be something you may want to see about getting second hand or on clearance.

Perfect prep machine.. If you choose to bottle feed. If not a breast feeding pillow is a life saver:P
