Need Advice on pregnancy straight after a miscarriage?
Desperately need advice as I’m going out of my mind, this a little abit about what’s happened so far ...
After trying for over 5 years to conceive with my husband we found out on the 22nd October that I was in fact 5 weeks pregnant, obviously we was absolutely over the moon, on the 10th December we found out at our first scan that are precious baby that was so so wanted had anencephaly... we were absolutely heartbroken... we were given the choice to either go full term which could be dangerous or terminate the pregnancy, after us thinking long and hard about it and as much as it felt like my heart had been ripped apart we decided to terminate, and went through a medical miscarriage....
My question is, I know it takes a while to let your body get back to normal... I bled after the miscarriage for a full week ... and before all of this my cycles were always 28 days ...
I’m assuming the first day of your cycle is the day I had the miscarriage, meaning I’m now on day 31 and haven’t had a period but I did have pale pink spotting for 2 days on cycle day 24 and I’ve had nothing else since, I have done a test and it had a faint faint positive and I went to the doctors Wednesday for a blood test and they were 5.9 and I had to have another bloody test on Friday but don’t get the results till Monday.... to see if they have gone down.... I’d love to be able to conceive again And I know they say we should wait and really we have only bd a couple of times since nothing like normally .... I’m just really confused. An anyone spread light on this...
1. Has anyone not had a period in between a miscarriage but had spotting and was pregnant??
2. Anyone’s levels been 5.9 what does it mean?
3. Has anyone gone through a miscarriage and had a week of full bleeding after it and then on cycle day 24 just spotting? For 2 days? Was it just your body getting back to normal??
So sorry it’s a long one but I’m going out of my mind and I don’t want to wait till Monday haha even though I’ll probs have to...
Thankyou in advance x
