16 month old is sick with a cold...is it ok to allow him to watch tv?

I hardly put tv on for him. But he’s sick with a cold and I really want him to rest so he feels better. But he’s not a cuddly type of kid, so the only way for him to rest is for him to lay down on the couch and watch tv. 
Is this ok?

You do not need permission for something like this :) everyone raises their children differently. Don't feel guilty because you're trying to keep your child happy while they don't feel well. ❤❤

I don’t typically do tv with my son, but sick days are exceptions to a lot of things I don’t typically do. Haha.

I say yes for sick days but I’m not anti tv, me and my 10 month old are sick right now so today we’ve had a tv day where we just chilled out and played with a few toys whilst watching, when it’s days like that you just need to sit and be relaxed
