Mirena help

Hi there.

I have had the Mirena IUD for almost 3.5 years. Have have no period, occasional cramping. But for the last few months the pain is constant and ranges from 2-5 pain level. I saw a ob dr today and I’m getting a ultrasound next week (also have two fibroids the Dr wants to have checked) has anyone else experience constant cramping on mirena and did it go away after you had it removed? The Dr says it helps with the fibroids but I am so annoyed and uncomfortable all the time that I am very considering taking it out.
