Trying again. With hope this time.
A little back story, in 2015 we welcomed our first little joy after trying for 6 years such a blessing and we were happy! I lost 100lbs and it just happened. Fast forward to end of 2017 to 2018, I went back to OB/GYN to try to have another baby because we were trying again with no success. My periods were back to being all over the place. So this doctor prescribed me metformin and everything went back to normal and started to work on losing weight again. We tried timed intercourse with ovadrel shot along with ultra-sounds to see when I was going ovulate after twice and failed we moved to IUI. Did three rounds first round one, two, one on eggs and all three rounds again ultra-sound with ovadrel. Still no success, now we moved and before I started thinking a baby again we wanted to get established with our home and settled. I met my new OB/GYN he was wonderful and very insightful, he was shocked that I didn’t get pregnant with the rounds of IUI so he began to believe something else wrong so literally a week later he scheduled me for surgery and he went and fixed everything, my ovaries were literally adhered to my abdominal all and not near my Fallopian tubes, he repositioned my cervix instead of tilted he put it straight on. Two weeks later did my follow up he put me back on metformin to regulate me and did a blood draw to see if I have PCOS. A few days later I found out I have PCOS. Kind of a hard blow to hear with everything else that has happened when you are already had so much difficulties and to add one more hurtle to the mix, yes I know I can get pregnant with PCOS just not what I wanted to hear. So I finally had my period on Christmas Day! And just ran into my ovulation cycle so here’s to hopefully getting pregnant much sooner then later. I’m glad I found this new doctor and he was very quick to figure out what was wrong and hopefully everything will done will allow us to add to our family because our daughter keeps thinking I’m coming out with a baby every time I goto the doctors and it breaks my heart.
