Had a scare at my appointment today

I am 9 weeks 3 days with my 2nd child. I had an elective ultrasound at 6 weeks ish (around Christmas) because my family was there and we saw the baby and heartbeat. Today I went for my 2nd prenatal appointment. My doctor thinks I’m 10 weeks despite me being sure of the date. So they try to get a heartbeat on dopler. No problem. I know this is unlikely. They can’t find one. They then have the midwife do an ultrasound. She explained she’s not an US tech and if she isn’t reassured I can either come back in a week or get a ‘real’ ultrasound which is not @ their office. No problem. She can’t see movement or a heartbeat, and suggests I go have an ultrasound that day. Ok. I’m still mostly holding it together. What really got me scared was the urgency that the nurses had phoning all the facilities to try to get me in somewhere that day. Went across town to get the ultrasound, and the tech found baby’s heartbeat very quickly. I was a wreck but I’m better now. My daughter also started daycare this week so my emotions are all hijacked crazy. Just wanted to share
