Best pump?

Question

I’m sure this question had been asked a lot but what is the best pump and why?!

So I have both. The Spectra is more adjustable. There are more suction and rate options you can mess with. Medela there is one knob for suction strength and the rate kinda adjusts when you're on expression mode. I get about the same amount of milk from either pump. Spectra is quieter. Medela is wayyyy louder. They can both be made portable but I think Medela is easier with that option, idk I've never pumped portably I've always plugged them both in. They're both pretty easy to find new parts. Insurance would have covered either pump for me so they're about the same cost etc. Medela is a little smaller.  But most importantly the Spectra is a closed system which is more hygenic. The Medela tubing gets cloudy and moisture in it when pumping and you have to make sure and dry it out and clean them super often ... The Spectra does not have that issue at all. So overall I like the Spectra better! Hope that helps.

Baby Buddha. Hands down, lightyears better than the Spectra. That doesn't at all mean Spectra is bad, it IS a fantastic workhorse. However, Baby Buddha is more effective and quicker at emptying because the way they cycle in letdown mode. Its also much quieter, much more portable (I use it with Freemie cups and pump discreetly at work or in public). The only negative is the amount of parts in the cups, but that's easily remedied by changing out duckbills for membranes or just using Spectra cups like I do. Also, their tubing is top notch. Its clear and lint,hair and dirt doesnt cling to it like other tubing does. Plus their tube splitter in the middle. Its easy to hook it up to any cups you want. 
If you can pick any pump, pick the Baby Buddha. If you are limited by insurance (I asked and my insurance actually reimbured me for my BB pump), pick the Spectra. You won't be disappointed with that one either.
