Birthing success stories with big baby

alexandra

So I recently find myself growing more and more nervous as I near my due date.

I am currently 33 weeks and I haven't had my baby measured or seen her since 20 weeks, she was 11 oz which was 70th percentile.

My first pregnancy with my son I had GD and preeclampsia and went to doc several times a week to watch the size of my baby and was on insulin. I ended up being induced at 37 weeks and he was 7lbs 4oz and completely healthy.

I'm just nervous this time because I passed my glucose test at 22-24 weeks and my pregnancy has been treated normally.

I switched doctors since the ones I had with my son and I really like my doctor.

I expressed to him how nervous I was about C-section and having a big baby I'm like super against c section... As I am a stay at home mom and have a very very hyperactive 3 year old and don't have time for down time...

He assured me that he has birthed 10lb babies to women much smaller than me.

Are there any mother's that had 9+ lb babies and had them vaginally?!

I'm also shooting for a natural delivery as well as I had adverse reactions to the epidural drugs.

I'd love to hear about any mother's that were worried about C-section and had successful vaginal births

TIA
