My boyfriends mother passed away a few months ago and he was very close with her. He is very depressed and I feel so bad. Do you guys think there is any more I can do?

I lost my mom in 2018 you're doing everything right, its gonna be so hard, I would scream and cry at my partner and he just held me and that's all I needed, just be there for him

We lost my SO mother in June- her birthday was in October. It was definitely not easy but honestly there’s nothing more you can do other than be positive and try and lift his mood. I sent my SO out on a bike trip because riding his motorcycle is his favorite thing to do when he’s upset. So him and a friend took off for a weekend road trip to Dallas and I met him in KC we took our boys to a Chiefs football game. It kept everyone’s minds off of the sadness.

It is so hard.. u just feel useless.. my husbands mum died last month.. he didn't manage to say goodbye.. it was so sudden.. she lived in a different country as well.. I'm 24 weeks pregnant so it just breaks his heart that she won't be here to see our first child.. breaks my heart too.. if he wants to talk.. just listen to him.. maybe instead of texting him.. I would call him.. but other than that.. he just needs time and ur patience.
