Share Your Maternity Leave Plan

My maternity leave has been written. My last day of work is February 28th, I’ll be 37 weeks pregnant. My doctor wanted to write me off at 36 weeks because of my continuous hip and pubic pain, but I wanted to work At least thru February. I guess my short term doesn’t start until after birth. I didn’t know that. So I’ll get another 6 weeks after birth. I always thought the first day your off is when it starts. During my STD I’ll collect from the state at 60% my income and also from Aflac 🦆.
