Mucas plug?

I am 36 and 5 days. I just went to the bathroom

And noticed this egg white discharge on my underwear. Well I looked down and this long thick string was hanging on out down there! It was clear and thick. Is this my mucas plug?

Should I keep an eye on it? I know this isn’t a sign of imminent labor but my Braxton Hicks have been pretty intense the last three days. Can they cause this?
