How common is a missed miscarriage?

Saw baby on scan at 9 weeks, am 10w 2d today. I’m waiting the appointment for my 12 week scan (actually between 12-14 weeks). My symptoms have completely gone, no tiredness, no sore boobs, no heartburn, no nothing, I’m feeling absolutely fine! 
I am so terrified when I finally get to my 12-14 weeks scan that they’ll say baby stopped at 9 or 10w.
I’ve had no bleeding or pains, cramps, twinges.
In all honesty how common are missed miscarriages?

They are quite common but prior to seeing the heartbeat.

I have had 3 missed miscarriages in a row. My sister had two and she’s about to have a son next week. It’s very common now a days. Every women will go through at least one miscarriage in their life time. I felt that same way with my first missed miscarriage. I spoke with the nurse on call at my obgyn and she told me that it’s normal. I went in later that week I was supposed to be 12 weeks 2 days and my baby had died in its 9th week. Trust your body because only you know it best. If you feel something is off or wrong contact your obgyn. Good luck.

I read that they account for 60% of all losses, BUT that after seeing the HB, the risk goes way down. 12 weeks is also a common time for symptoms to let up!

I had a MMC. I was almost twelve weeks and baby stopped growing around nine. We saw a heartbeat at 8 weeks 6 days. What they told me was that I had a 5% chance of that happening. So honestly, not common at all. And on that note I think for some women that time period is when symptoms start to subside going into the second trimester.
