Do you enjoy having your kids 4 years apart ???

Question

We wanted our kids close in age but we decided to wait until end of this year because we’re in the middle of buying a house. I’m just nervous that my kids won’t be close because their 4 years apart ... :/

I’m super close with my sister who is 5 years older! I have a sister much closer in age and we don’t get along at all and really never have.

Mine are 13, 9, and 6 (also have a 12 yr old in heaven😇) but anyways for the most part I love it! My older one was always great with helping because the age difference, plus the older they are the better they understand and the best part is it gives you so much time to recoop and enjoy your babies without taking away from the previous one! I mean sometimes its a bit tougher because once one hits teenage years they start getting annoyed with the youngers but give them enough space and it gets better 😉 
P.s. We had 3 other teens for 5 years as well....wont go into that long story but at one point in time we had 6 kids that ranged all the way from 16 to 1 and we made it work really well with having older girls together, middle & younger boys together, then middle & younger girls together. Just this year is when things have gone back to just our 3 and I honestly feel super empty 😔 probably even more so that we managed to finally get preggo again (after we stopped trying...go figure) then just lost it. My point is though....age doesnt matter! Its all about your mindset of how to make it work and thinking only about thr positives 🤗 You got this momma....it will be awesome for the whole fam.

Mine are 5 years apart and just coexist.  They dont speak or interact with eachother unless necessary. They are polar opposites though.

My kiddos will be 4.5 years apart. And I was bummed at first too. But luckily, my sister and I are 8 years apart and we have always been close

I don’t really think age has to do anything with how close siblings can or cannot be. 
My sister & I are 8 years apart. When I was growing up we couldn’t be in the same room without trying to hurt each other. Mom had to separate us half the time. But that changed when I turned 11. Not sure why but it just did. 
I’m 22 now, she’s 30 & we’re absolute best friends. You’d have no idea that we hated it each other at one point in time. 
Siblings are going to fight. There’s nothing you can do to prevent that. It’s just how siblings are. :)

My kids are 2.5yrs apart and they fight soooo much. I highly recommend having them further apart I think 4-5yrs would be great cause they still get individual attention
