Currently 23+1 with twins. Developed a really painful haemorrhoid about 4 days ago. Today it’s started bleeding. I last had a bowel movement on Thursday the day after it appeared but I didn’t strain and the stool wasn’t hard or painful to pass. Contacted the NHS non emergency number to get advice as there’s no walk in doctors open on a Sunday in my area. After their assessment they said to make a doctors appointment on Monday as I need to be seen within 24hours. Can’t use any over the counter products without seeing a doctor first. I just feel so uncomfortable. Last time I had a haemorrhoid this painful was in 2011. Hopefully I can get an appointment and get sorted. Anyone else suffering? Or does anyone have any home remedies to ease pain?
