So my husband and I have 1 son his name is Ryan we are expecting another little boy so we have been brainstorming ideas. My husband wants to name our second sone thane......it’s a Scottish meaning of clan chieftain i do not like the name I think it’s to odd I wanted unique names for our boys but this was not what I was expecting. Every name I have listed he doesn’t like.
Liam, Carter, Oakley, Parker, Thomas, emric, Ethan, Holden, Levi, James, Nicholas, Noah. Nope doesn’t like any of them....
Anyone have any suggestions or ideas on baby boy names?

Try looking at other Scottish names and seeing if you like anything. Also, if he is in to a certain sport or team, look at those names? My husband ended up loving Easton (which I got from a book) because I found out it’s the name of sports equipment and he’s a huge sports fan! So relating it to him and what he likes got him on board. Sometimes it’s just all in the approach ;)

All of the names you’ve chosen, aside from Emric, are super generic and boring. If you’re actually wanting something unique then Thane would be your best option.
