Gender???

At how many weeks can you find out gender?? I’m currently 13 weeks and was told i was “too young” for the gender blood testing that the fetal medicine doctor does

I had the genetic testing done around 8/10 weeks I think-somewhere around there. I think the age thing only comes into play with having insurance cover it or not. There are a lot of independent companies you can skirt around your doctor with if interested. I would ask your health care provider for the genetic test and tell him/her you will pay out of pocket.

I got an ultrasound at 16 weeks with my son

I did an ultrasoind at 13 weeks and they couldnt tell wait till 15 and get a 3d ultrasound and u will find out cuz i did at 15 weeks found out im having a baby girl

That’s not true at all. My blood was drawn for that at 11 weeks.

That just means your insurance wont cover it because you are low risk, because the purpose isn't to find out the gender, it is to look for abnormalities. It normally is not cheap.

I paid for early ultrasounds. I found out with my daughter at 15 weeks and my son at 13 weeks. They were both clear as day.
