Missed miscarriage d and c

I’m 36- this was my third pregnancy -went to my 11 week us to find out baby had passed 1 month prior. Had to get a d and c the following morning. I’m so scared of this happening again because of my age and now that it’s happened once. Has anyone been through this at this age ? My first two pregnancies were healthy but I was under 35.
