TTC After Miscarriage

I miscarries in late August. This was my first pregnancy and I turned 38 in October. My baby stopped growing at 8 weeks and I found out at our ultrasound when I should have been about 10 weeks. We’ve been TTC since my body was physically able. So far no pregnancy and it’s almost February. It’s emotional every time I get my period because it is a reminder that I’m not pregnant. I went through the first few months feeling betrayed by my own body. I think I still go through it but just not as intense as before. I am longing to be pregnant again and to carry the baby to term and have a happy and healthy baby. Did it take some of you awhile to get pregnant after a miscarriage?
