SIL vent.... kinda

This is in no way a bashing post. My SIL is a great person, but....

Background: my husband has 2 older sisters. The middle sister has a 14yr old daughter and the older sister has a 7yr and 5yr old. The middle sister is not a bad mother, but definitely isn’t very emotional and everyone is always joking about her being a bad mom (she even jokes about it herself). The older sister is always joking about how she has 3 kids (referring to the 14yr as her own). It never bothered me because she’s not my kid.

Now that my hubby and I have a baby the older sister is starting to make comments about her and her 4 kids 🙄 and I know she is joking, but it’s starting to annoy me. My daughter has a mom and it’s ME!

I know I’m overreacting and my daughter is lucky to have an auntie that loves her so much, but she’s MY baby! Lol
