Is this a weird career path?

I’m 22 years old. I think I finally know what I want to major in life. I want to be a health inspector maybe a Food Inspector. Sigh. My parents want me to work in the medical field but that’s my thing at all! 
I don’t know if I’m making a right a decision. 😭

Do what you wanna do. I know our parents can have a big impact on us but you have to do what’s goin to make you happy. My parents wanted the same thing. But I found my self in animal medicine instead of human medicine ;) and I love it!

Nothing as a career is “too weird” when you’re doing what you enjoy. At the end of the day, it’s your life and how you choose to be happy, inspecting or not lol

Honestly, don’t worry about it. Go to college, study what you want. If you like that field, stay in. If you don’t, try something else. You don’t have to stay with your very first job for life. If you’re not happy with a choice you make, you can ALWAYS change directions.
