Depends on the vacation. Disney World? I never in a billion years would’ve taken that vacation without my extended family there to help us (and more importantly for the baby swap). To a quiet little place on the beach? Yeah that was nice just us.

It depends on the vacation. If it’s just a weekend away or somewhere they aren’t interested in, we are more than happy to go on our own. If it’s somewhere they like too, or a place they are also interested in exploring, the more the merrier. We all enjoy each other’s company, but are happy to operate independently, so nobody is really in anybody else’s way.

It depends on where you’re going and how much you get along with baby’s grandparents. Most of the trips we’ve done it would’ve been awesome to have a third or fourth set of hands to help with the baby/toddler or allow my husband and I to have a date night.

We travel a ton with our son, since he was 4 months old & he's now almost 3 years old. We've never needed or wanted to bring grandparents etc. to help care for him.

Went to Florida my first time last year when my son was almost 1. He turned 1 while we were in Florida. It was nice because my fiancé family went which was his siblings & his parents. His parents would take our son while we would go to the beach & chill by the ocean for a few. So maybe take grandparents so that maybe they will take the little one while you go do something with your significant other. Not saying to take the grandparents to just babysit but It might be nice for a night or couple of hours.

I think it would depend on where your going and what your doing I would bring them if I wanted to go do adult/date nights or something with my husband but also wanted to family stuff during the day.

I put just immediate family but I think it depends on where your going, whether youd all be staying together, if grandparents are going just because of the 1.5yr old, ect.
