Pregnant on IUD ?

Question

Is it possible to get pregnant on IUD ? I’m just wondering because I feel like I’ve got a period and then the next month it never came. Sometimes I have cramping and I’ll bleed pinkish-reddish if I wiped but not on a pad. Every now again my stomach jumps. Am I bugging ? 🙄 I might be hungry my fat ass 😂

There is a slight possibility of getting pregnant with an IUD, if the IUD isn’t placed correctly or it moves itself down in or on the cervix. When I first had my copper IUD put in I thought for sure I was pregnant because I missed my period for 4 months! This freaked me out because the copper one isn’t supposed to lighten or end your periods (actually its supposed to do the exact opposite!) If you have a hormonal IUD that may be the cause for a lighter or missed period. After a dozen negative pregnancy tests and a visit to my OB/GYN turns out I wasn’t pregnant. Sometimes IUD (even the copper IUD) can mess you up a little bit. I did eventually start getting my regular periods again but had it removed later on. IUD’s can be awesome but they aren’t for everyone. I would take a pregnancy test and follow it up with a visit to the GYN. Good luck!! 💕
