Did people ask your husband if he was disappointed when you found out you were having a girl??

I can’t believe how many people have asked my husband if he’s disappointed about having a daughter!
I find it so rude.. we are excited to have a baby and we are so happy it’s a girl (just as we would have been if it was a boy). 
Anybody else experience this?

Cashier at Kroger flared at my daughter, who was 2 months old at the time, looked at me & goes, “you couldn’t have had a boy to make your husband happy?”
Like yes, Karen. I can totally control that. 🙄

My husband was a little sad at first to be honest. But if someone were to ask him that I feel like he would be a annoyed. It is literally none of their business. He is just happy this baby is healthy so far and growing good. He cant wait to officially be a dad in june.

Yes. Our first child was a girl and he got a few comments here and there. We recently announced that our second child is also a girl and he got so many people straight up saying "I'm sorry" or "yeah it took us x tries to get our boy."

Sooooooo many people asked if my husband was disappointed when we founf out our 1st was a girl. Funny because he actually wanted a girl really really badly. There are no girls on his side of the family only sons.

My husband has 2 girls in his first marriage, so he was already used to girls before I came a long. 😂

My boyfriends grandfather and a few of his uncles did ask him that.
