Have to get my wisdom teeth taken out... is it horrible?

No, people are oftentimes completely over dramatic about it. Lol. Getting my wisdom teeth out was one of the top 5 best days of my life. Lol

No I had all 4 done and I was fine. Just relax and enjoy the anesthesia 👍🏼

I had all 4 of mine pulled at the same time.
I took the pain meds and literally bought  packs and packs of icecream / fruit or sherbet to make milkshakes/ smoothies to drink ( they wont allow you to suck on a straw because of your stitches)
Also buy gauze so you can pack it in , it helps the pain..and sleep
I lived on those for 1 week and then it got better. 
It wasnt painful for me.

It was easy process sp far not alot of pain but do make sure you have soup and salt water because you'll need it

I got all four of mine out at once. The beginning wasn’t awful but I ended up with dry socket on both sides on the bottom. That was awful.

When I got mine out at 17, I had a horrible phobia of dentists and I was even surprised at how it was.  It wasn't nearly as bad as I anticipated.   I highly suggest you get the gas to put you out.

If you can do it on 2 separate occasions, like do the left side one day, and then a few months later do the right side, that would make it much better. Not sure if you can manage that though.
I only got 1 of mine out (the other 3 never emerged 🤷🏻‍♀️) and it truly was not that bad. The worst part was just how difficult it was to eat because I couldn’t chew on that side of my mouth at all for like a week, and still had to be careful for another week or two after that. Thats why I say if you can just do 1 side at a time, that would be much easier because then at least you would have 1 side where you can safely chew. 
Just make sure you have a good oral surgeon. Mine was phenomenal. I just had a novacaine injection (I’m allergic to nitris oxide so I couldn’t have that) and felt nothing but a little tug when he pulled it out. A couple hours later I ran a low fever, but took a bath and it went down. Once the novocaine wore off I felt a little pain, but honestly it was significantly less bad than having braces tightened, if you’ve ever had that done. I didn’t take a single pain killer. I felt kinda groggy and gross the following day. But the day after that (2 days after tooth extraction) I felt fine. I had it pulled Friday and was back at work Monday feeling 100%.
