Is 27 weeks too early for a baby shower ?

My older sister took over & decided my baby shower was going to be a complete surprise for me. I wasn’t going to know when or where until the day.

Well someone tipped me off that it’s going to be this Sunday...

Which makes sense because my husband, who has been trying to soak up as many hours at work as he can & volunteers to stay late, requested Sunday off. He ended up not even having to ask & got it off anyway but still. Then today he asked me about going to this family members house an hour away “just to visit” even though we were literally just there.

The whole time he was discussing going over there he wouldn’t look at me. Zero eye contact & he even looked out the car window to avoid me looking over at him (we were parked, don’t worry lol).

I’ll be 27 weeks tomorrow. I’m not complaining at all! I’m so thankful for my sister & everyone who attends. But don’t most people have it around 30-35 weeks?
