What would you do with this space?

The place we rent has these built into 2 of the bedrooms.

We plan on using the drawers for extra sheets, next size up clothes, and other things. But aren't sure what to do with this "mini closet." (There's a full size closet right next to it.)

We got a changing pad thinking we could use it as a makeshift changing area, but it's not quite deep enough for the changing pad.

Now we aren't sure what to use it for.

Any suggestions?
